The technology Fire Pro of condensed aerosol for fire suppression was developed by the Institute of Space Technology of the Russian Federation - one of the most respected research centres in the world, for the protection of its satellites and spacecraft and today is available through FirePro, an innovative automatic fire suppression system, patented by the company Celanova Ltd / FirePro Systems Ltd - Cyprus, CE.
Fire Pro aerosol generators have inside a solid bound compound (SBK), rich in potassium salts (K), which when activated triggers a chemical reaction (exothermic), quickly turning into a powerful Tri-Class ABC aerosol, which extinguishes fires of classes A, B and C in seconds.
Installation and maintenance of the Fire Pro is extremely simple and cost effective due to the absence of pressure inside the Fire Pro and the absence of piping for aerosol dispensing. The compact size of the FirePro makes it the ideal protection for critical areas with limited space, where high extinguishing efficiency and economy of installation are vital.

Fire Pro Key Advantages
- It replaces complex systems with Halogen Gases, CO2 and Inert Gases.
- It is safe for people (at recommended application rates) as it does not remove oxygen.
- It is safe for electronic, electrical and magnetic equipment as it does not cause corrosion.
- Clean-up after the fire is minimal - aerosol suspended in the air is easily eliminated by ventilation after discharge.
- With a single unit it is possible to protect from cubicles with 0.08m³ (e.g. CPU) up to environments with 57m³. For larger volumes, several units are arranged and triggered simultaneously or sequentially.
- They integrate with pre-existing fire detection and fire panels and can act autonomously.
- It is environmentally correct, having the European Green Label environmental seal, the strictest in the world.
- Its construction is in stainless steel, with a useful life of up to 15 years in normal environments.
Fire Pro Technical Features
- Suppression method: Chemical reaction by total flooding of the protected environment
- Activation: The solid compound SBK (potassium salts) can be activated by:
- ELECTRICAL SIGNAL: 6/12/24/36 V D/C - 0.8 A (minimum).
- THERMAL SIGNAL: Thermo-cord at 172oC.
- AUTO-IGNITION: When the solid SBK compound reaches 300oC.
- SBK Solid Compound: Based on Potassium salts, it is very stable to fluctuations in temperature and humidity of the environment. Its formula does not contain pyrotechnic material, such as nitrocellulose, for example.
- Volumetric Coverage: As a reference, every 100g of SBK solid compound are sufficient to protect a volume of 1 m3, in case of class A fire (e.g. plastic, rubber,
- fabric, paper, wood, etc).
- Dumping time: 3 to 20 seconds, depending on the model.
- Effectiveness: Inhibits reignition of fire for up to 120 minutes in airtight environments.
- Working temperature: -55oC to +150oC.
- Working life: Up to 15 years.
