FirePro, The Condensed Aerosol technology for fire suppression was developed by the Space Technology Institute of the Federation Russian - one of the most respected research centres in the world, for the protection of its satellites and spacecraft and today is available through Fire Pro , an innovative automatic fire suppression system, patented by the company Celanova Ltd / Fire Pro Systems Ltd - Chipre, CE.
Fire Pro aerosol generators have a solid bound compound (SBK) inside, rich in potassium salts (K), which when activated triggers a chemical (exothermic) reaction, rapidly transforming into a powerful aerosol Tri-Class ABC, which extinguishes fires of classes A, B and C in seconds.
Its installation and maintenance is extremely simple and economical, due to the absence of pressure inside the Fire Pro and the absence of piping for aerosol dispensing. The compact size of Fire Pro makes it the ultimate protection ideal for critical areas with limited space, where high efficiency in suppression and economy of installation are vital
Main advantages of Fire Pro:
- Replaces complex systems with halogenated gases, CO2 and Inert Gases.

High Efficiency:

Ignition:
The can be activated by an electric current of 6 to 36 V D/C - 0.8 A, or by the Thermo-Cord at 172oC. Electrical activation allows the tripping of the system to be commanded by a fire panel. It also has a third firing alternative, which is self-ignition when its temperature reaches 300oC. Such characteristics make it practically immune to failure.
Activator:
It is a thermoelement that receives the signal (thermal or electrical) and triggers the exothermic reaction of the solid compound SBK. Technical features:
· Extinguishing method: Chemical reaction by total flooding of the
protected environment.
· Activation: SBK solid compound can be activated by:
· ELECTRICAL SIGNAL: 6/12/24/36 V D/C - 0,8 A (minimum).
· THERMAL SYNAL: Thermo-cord at 172oC.
· AUTO-IGNITIONWhen the solid SBK compound reaches 300oC.
· SBK solid compound: based on potassium salts, it is very stable to fluctuations in ambient temperature and humidity. Its formula does not contain pyrotechnic material, such as nitrocellulose, for example.
· Volumetric Coverage: As a reference, each 100g of solid SBK compound are sufficient to protect a volume of 1 m3, in case of class A fire (e.g. plastic, rubber, fabric, paper, wood, etc).
· Discharge time: From 3 to 20 seconds, depending on the model.
· Effectiveness: Inhibits reignition of the fire for up to 120 minutes in pond environments.
· Working temperature: from -55oC to +150oC.
· Lifetime: Up to 15 years old.
How do you extinguish fire?
Traditional fire extinguishing methods act on one or more elements of the Fire Triangle, namely:
- Oxygen: Method of smothering or depletion of oxygen. (e.g. CO2, inert gases, foam, sand).
- Heat Source: Method of cooling or absorbing heat. (e.g. Water, foam, halogenated gases).
- Combustible Material: Method of removing the fuel (e.g. physical barriers, removal of heat source).
